Experience in Combat Sports
For the past 23 years, Andy has worked as a Master of Ceremonies (MC) at over 500 combat sports events across more than 10 countries, covering disciplines such as MMA, Boxing, and Muay Thai.
He has also officiated at a world-class level as both an MMA referee and judge, earning recognition as one of the most experienced and respected officials in the UK MMA scene.
A Lifetime of Training
Andy’s experience goes beyond events. He has trained and practiced various martial arts since the age of 5, giving him over 40 years of hands-on experience in combat sports.
His background includes:
Karate, Judo, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and Wrestling.
This depth of experience allows him to truly understand the physical demands placed on athletes and how to support them effectively through treatment.
STILL ACTIVE IN THE FIGHT
Andy continues to stay active in the sport, currently training with Whitley Amateur Boxing Club and Super Fire Gym for Muay Thai. He is also working towards his England Boxing Level 1 Coaching Award, further strengthening his knowledge and ability to support athletes at all levels.
With both professional and personal experience in combat sports, Andy understands what it takes to stay in peak condition. His approach to sports massage focuses on helping clients recover efficiently, improve movement, and perform at their best, whether in competition or everyday life.
